I am Jessie Pringle, a 2L from Chanute, Kansas. I am a 2016 graduate of the University of Kansas and received a bachelor’s in history with a minor in environmental studies.

As a daughter of a KU Law graduate, I wasn’t always sure KU Law was the place for me – until now. I am grateful to have grown up learning from my father’s KU Law classmates, who continue to serve across the state as successful judges, lawyers and, most importantly, role models. Although I grew up wanting to be a lawyer, by college I wasn’t sure I wanted to attend law school. I especially wanted to at least attend school out of state and not stick around campus while seeing my undergraduate friends leave the area. But then I realized I truly wanted to be a part of the tradition and community of KU Law.

The town of Lawrence, its people, and this world-class institution made the choice easy. If you’re looking for a supportive community that challenges you academically, KU Law should be a top choice during your law school search. Most importantly, I’ve learned in my short time in Green Hall that the network of Jayhawk lawyers across the nation is strong and familial – they look out for each other.

Please contact me or any other KU Law Student Ambassador to explore whether KU Law is the place for you!
