Student Life

KU Law students come to Green Hall with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. The environment here — where there are as many opportunities for collaboration as for competition — contributes to the development of friendships that will last a lifetime.
Outside the classroom, student organizations provide a focus for service, social activities and professional development. Some activities sponsored by student organizations have become significant law school traditions.
In Green Hall, student life is centered in the student commons area on the first floor, where students gather between classes and for special student activities.
Student Organizations
Student organizations provide leadership, community service and academic opportunities for students. They play host to events, plan symposia and participate in service activities. Contact information for registered organizations is available at the links below.
In addition to law student organizations, students may choose from more than 500 university student organizations. For more information about campuswide organizations, visit the Student Involvement & Leadership Center section of the KU website.
